On September 22, we continued negotiations with CIR-SEIU. Our sessions continue to be productive, and we greatly appreciate the discussions at the table as we close gaps on various outstanding contract articles.

• The teams reached agreement in concept on three additional articles, bringing our total to six.
  • Article 2 – Non-Discrimination in Employment – 9/22/26
  • Article 11 – Grievance Procedure – 9/22/26
  • New Article – Required Equipment – 9/22/26
  • Article 17 – Lactation Accommodation – 9/8/26
  • Article 31 – Holidays – 9/8/26
  • New Article – Mileage – 9/8/26
• We remain fully committed to supporting our pregnant Residents and Fellows.
  • As a complement to our robust Workplace Accommodations Policy that includes specific pregnancy language, we will be sharing proposed contract language at our next session to highlight the resources available for individuals seeking pregnancy accommodations that address their individual workplace needs and restrictions.

We are committed to reaching an agreement that supports our Residents and Fellows with a competitive salary and benefits package, and we look forward to presenting a comprehensive response at our next session on September 29 that will further narrow some of the remaining gaps.
